Getting Back In The Game

It's official.  My first winter of retirement from guiding is past. I have to admit I really miss being on the rivers every day, the lifestyle and most of all my friends and clients.  However, I got to fish more this winter than the past 3 years combined! I was free to fish and explore my briefly open home waters in an old school fashion while testing new patterns and gear. Composite Loops go to Thailand

Composites Loops Make the Journey to Thailand  After traveling half way around the word, I am back in the PNW. Cold and wet, but it is good to be back where steelhead roam. I have been very fortunate to be able to travel to Thailand to train some very talented tiers in the use of composite loops and the tying of my flies.
